Answer

Hi Sankar,

Thank you for contacting the Microsoft Community.

I appreciate your initiative in doing a system test prior to your exam. Allow me to provide recommendation on how to resolve this type of issue.

Please be advised that this type of technical difficulties are unforeseen equipment problems such as software bugs wherein some antivirus software can cause performance issues and it can happen in any exam delivery provider.

To avoid experiencing the same, we recommend you to take note the following reminders to better prepare for your OnVUE exam.

  • Unreliable internet connections (e.g., wireless networks, hotels, VPNs, mobile hotspots) may interrupt connectivity. If possible, you should use a personal laptop with a wired, ethernet connection.

  • Thoroughly review these technical requirements to ensure your system is compatible with the OnVUE online testing software.

In addition, as per the Tips on taking an OnVUE exam // Pearson VUE page, if your setup fails the system test or doesn’t meet minimum requirements, you will need to take your exam at a testing center instead.

Alternatively, you can contact directly the Pearson VUE Support team to report this incident so they can further investigate the root cause of the issue and provide you variable options on how you can take your exam smoothly. You can find their contact information by clicking the link below:
