Labs questions for AI-100 Exam

Hi,

i will be writing the AI-100 exam next week. I came to know that labs are removed on a temporary basis due to some issues by MS.

wanted to know if labs do not count will all questions be MCQs only? Does this mean that the number of questions will be reduced? if yes, what about the exam duration will that also be reduced?

Will i get a fair shot at clearing the exam minus the labs, i am anxious..

please let me know

Hello Mahesh,

Please note that with or without labs, the exams are psychometrically equivalent, and the cut score is set appropriately based on the difficulty of the items the candidate sees; taken together, the pass/fail result is an accurate reflection of the learners’ performance on the exam.

To be more specific, the exam will have the same number of questions, it's just that you will not have a lab session at the end of it. Removing the labs does not impact the score, you will be able to score 100% based on the first part of the exam only, which is the questions. The time allowed for the exam should remain the same, full time. Should you encounter any issues during your exam, please communicate it to the proctor.

If this solves your problem, please indicate “Yes” to the question below, so that other learners can benefit, and please take our short survey to let us know if your support experience has been great or how we can improve.

Please confirm by selecting “Yes” within 2 business days, otherwise the thread will be automatically closed, locked and marked as answered.
