MCSA OFFICE 365 - After 70346 and 70347 Exams ?

Hello,

Please accept in advance my apologies if there is already an answer regarding this topic but i was not able to find it.

I succeeded with these 2 exams in June 2016. Recently, i see someone in my professionnal network who got a Microsoft certification and after a few clicks verifying his certification i landed on my certification Dashboard and noticed this certification was removed in April 2019.

So here are my questions :

- As i understand i will still benefit my certification. There is no need to recert myself, am i right ?

- The 2 new exams now correspond to MS-100 and MS-101 (according to the Microsoft Certification Poster here : https://query.prod.cms.rt.microsoft.com/cms/api/am/binary/RE2PjDI) am i right ?

- Modern Workplace Certification Path is the only one that makes no distinction between Associate and Expert Role-Based, am i right ?

- As it seems, this certification path can not lead to any further specialty, am i right ?

Many thanks in advance for your help,

Regards,

Alex

Answer

Hi Alex,

1.    Please note that Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert” is a role-based certification. This only means that this certification differs from “MCSEMicrosoft Certified Solutions Expert. In order to obtain the aforementioned certification you must have one ( 1 ) of required certification from the 6 and pass the exams MS-100 and MS-101.

2.    For clarification the MCSA: Office 365 has been retired as of April 30, 2019 and it is not part of the prerequisite to obtain the “Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert”.
