MCSE Certification path question

Hello,

i recently earned my microsoft exam 70-743 certification. But, i do not have my MCSA in 2008 or 2012 and i also never took exam 70-740, 70-741, and 70-742. I didnt realize that i would not become MCSA certified just by passing exam 70-743. My question is, whats the best possible path to earn my MCSE: Core Infrastructure certification? Just take the 740,741,742 exams and then try for the MCSE?

Hi Heath_44,

 

Note that exam 70-743 is an upgrade exam that can be taken by candidate who already obtained an MCSA: Windows Server 2008 or MCSA: Windows Server 2012 R2 certification which will upgrade into MCSA: Windows Server 2016.

 

It would be best to take exams 70-410, 70-411 and 70-412 to obtain the MCSA: Windows Server 2012 and then take one of the elective exams below to complete the MCSE: Core Infrastructure certification. See screenshot below for your reference:
