MD101/70-698

Hi

I cant see anymore on your MD101 page about the 70-698 exam which I passed before 2019.

Are we still able to only take the MD101 if we have passed the 70-698 to achieve the Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate certification?

Hi

Sorry I mean that previously on your MD 101 page, there was a sentence relating to the 70-698 saying that if you passed the 70-698 before it’s retirement in 2019 you only needed to take the MD101 to achieve the full certification (not both the md 100 and 101) but that sentence has now gone

I just wanted to know that since I did pass the 70-698 before it’s 2019 retirement, can I still take the MD 101 exam without the MD100 to get the certification? As per your sentence that was included on the MD 101 page a while ago?

Hi, Hannah.

Thank you for clarify your inquiry, we have requested a response from the Team in Charge of Certification and they let us know the following :

If you passed Exam 70-698 before it expired on March 31, 2019, you only need to take MD-101 to become Modern Desktop certified.

Candidates for this exam are administrators who deploy, configure, secure, manage, and monitor client devices and applications in an enterprise environment. Candidates manage identity, access, policies, updates, and applications.

This message was visible, nevertheless, it was updated to keep current information to avoid any issues or inconvenience but this is still active.

With that said, you are correct, if you complete the Exam MD-101 you will receive the Certification.

We would like to know if this response helps you or if you have an additional inquiry, we will be always glad to assist you.

In case we do not receive a response, the thread will be closed and locked after one business day.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Isabel Lopez.
