Microsoft 365 Modern Desktop Administrator Certification

Hi all, I have a MS 365 Certification question that I couldn't find an answer for in the doc's and FAQ's.

I'm aiming for the "Microsoft 365 Modern Desktop Administrator" Associate certification but wanted to know if the course/training for MD-100/101 exams included the material for MS-900 Fundamentals ? OR is the MS-900 material a prerequisite ( and worth completing with exam costs) before moving on the MD-100/101 material ?

As with everyone these days with full time jobs, time is at a premium and I didn't want to duplicate effort doing two sets of training/exams.
