Microsoft Certification is retiring, will I still be able to achieve the certification past the certification/exam retirement date?

Hello,

I am doing the SC-400 certification in May. If I extended the time to complete the certification, will I still receive the SC-400 cert despite it's past the retirement date?

Any response is appreciated. Thank you.

Answer

No

As Microsoft Certified: Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate - Certifications | Microsoft Learn says

This certification, related exam, and renewal assessments will retire on May 31, 2025. You will no longer be able to earn or renew this certification after this date.

How were you able to schedule the exam for a date after it has expired?
