Microsoft certification mail

Hi Team,

This is Sandeep. My mail is >removed<. I have taken Az 104 on >removed< and AZ 305 on >removed<. I cleared both exams, but I did not get any congratulations mail from Microsoft Certification (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***). Can I know what's the delay. Earlier I used to get the mail on the same day but now it's been a week I did not get any mail. I did not get any badge. I need to share the certification on LinkedIn.

Can you please help me out.

Hi, Sandeep.

Thank you for sharing the recording with us through Private Message.

After thorough review, we found that you completed Exam AZ-305 prior to the expiration date of your Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Certification.

Please note that, per our renewal policy, the expiration date of a Certificate cannot be extended by completing its required Exams before it has expired, even if said Exams have been updated or replaced.

The only way to renew a Certification, and extend its expiration date, is by completing its corresponding renewal assessment through the Microsoft Learn platform, which is enabled approximately six months prior to the Certificate's expiration date.

Completing the Exams required to earn a Certification before it has expired will not grant you with a new Certificate or Badge, nor will it extend the expiration date of your Certification.

For more information on our renewal policy, please visit the article: Renew your Microsoft Certification | Microsoft Docs.

That being said, since you passed Exam AZ-104, but your Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate Certification has not been re-activated, we have escalated your case with our Engineering Team.

Once we have an update regarding the progress on your case, we will get back to you. Please keep in mind that it can take up to 3 - 5 business days to provide you with further updates.

We will make sure to keep you posted during this process.

Kind regards,

Hi, Sandeep.

Thank you for letting us know.

You can add your Certificates and Badges to your LinkedIn account by following these steps:

  1. Click the "Me" icon at the top of your LinkedIn homepage and click "View profile."

  2. If you have previously added a Certificate, scroll down to the Accomplishments section, and click "Add." If you have never added a certification, you will first want to add a "Licenses and Certifications" section. On your profile page click Add new profile section in your introduction card. Under the Background dropdown, click the Add icon next to Licenses and Certifications.

  3. Select Certification from the dropdown.

  4. Type in your certification information. A menu displaying companies will appear as you type in the Certification authority field. Be sure to select the correct authority from the menu so their logo appears next to the certification on your profile.

  5. Once completed, click "Save."

If you run into any trouble while following these steps, we invite you to contact the LinkedIn support team by visiting the following URL: https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin.

We hope that this information helps resolve your concern. If so, please let us know by choosing "Yes" where it says, "Did this solve your problem?" located at the lower right corner of this post.

If we do not receive a response, the case will be closed and locked after one business day.
