Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert

I have completed Az-103 certification and now if I sit and clear the Az400 exam will I become 

Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert

As the exam has retired so do I have to sit and clear the Az 104 exam

Hi mayurthulgharia,

 

I can confirm that exam AZ-400 is the required exam for obtaining the Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification.

 

In order to get this certification, you need to have one prerequisite certification and pass exam AZ-400. Please see the image below for your reference:

 

 

 

This has been part of Microsoft’s policy of granting certificates per certification and not for each exam that you pass.

 

Since you passed the exam AZ-103 (which is credited towards Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification), you may now take the exam AZ-400 to complete the requirements.

 

You no longer need to take the AZ-104 since you passed the required exam before its retirement and have obtained the certification.
