Answer

Hello MHm1232266!

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft’s Community.

As we understand, you want to know more about the Microsoft Certified Educator certification. We will be happy to assist you with your inquiry.

The Microsoft Certified Educator Program is a professional development program that bridges the gap between technology skills and innovative teaching. Educators holding a Microsoft Certified Educator certification can prove they have the skills needed to provide rich, customized learning experiences for their students that incorporate critical 21st century skills using Microsoft tools.

This program does not relate to the Microsoft Certified Professional program in terms of knowledge, as with the MCE certificate you prepare yourself to be an Educator and not an IT professional; so no, it does not qualify you to become an MCP. However, this certification can be visualized along with the rest of the MCP certifications offered here: Microsoft Certifications | Microsoft Docs.

Currently, to become an MCP, you have to achieve one of the certifications offered on the previously shared website; it is no longer possible to obtain an MCP certification.
