Microsoft Power Platform Virtual Training Day: Fundamentals certification discount

Hi,

I had attended the Microsoft Power Platform Virtual Training Day: Fundamentals event conducted on April 20, 2021. It was clearly mentioned in the mail sent by Power apps team that 5 days after event has concluded, I could take the PL 900 certification exam at no cost. But even today when I tried to check the eligibility of my event registered mail id i.e, ***removed*** on Exam Discounts page, the response 'No discount available for ***removed*** If you have attended an event that provides an exam offer, please check the terms of the offer. Some events may require at least 4 business days following the event to record your eligibility. In addition, your organization may not be eligible for exam discounts.'

I would like to know the reason for my ineligibility for exam discount. Its been more than 10 working days since the event has concluded but still I couldn't utilise the exam discount. Hope to hear from Microsoft team soon with a solution.

Yes you are right.

 

Claiming for exam discount for the Training Day should only take 5 business days.

 

Make sure to follow the steps through this link on how you may link and redeem your discount.

 

If issue persist, please follow the troubleshooting steps through this sticky post.

 

If the above steps do not resolve your issue, please provide us with a PSR (Problem Steps Recorder) from the troubleshooting steps until the error message via private message along with the requested information so we may continue troubleshooting with you.

 

You may also adjust the limit of 25 screenshots as a default to a higher number of pictures to show the process. Please change the number to at least 100 screenshots in the tool’s settings.

In addition, please attach the actual copy of the email confirmation that you have attended the Training showing your email address on the recipient along with the Event ID that can be found on the email confirmation link as shown in the image below for reference.
