Missing Badge from Credly

Updating the question with an answer - Certiport is sending emails to people encouraging them to use Credly, but according to the answer below, Microsoft doesn't use Credly anymore.

After passing an exam, I received an email from Certiport congratulating me on earning a certification, and encouraging me to visit Credly to claim my badge. I had no account at Credly, so I created one. It's been a couple of weeks now and no badge has magically appeared in my profile. The email sent me to this link docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/certifications/badges which actually had a page worth of information on the day I opened the email but now forwards me to a bloated page about Credentials Overview. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/support/cred-overview

Could not find anything in there about Credly using the left-hand nav. Found this page by searching ... for credly https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/certifications/posts/how-to-claim-your-digital-badge-and-why

I tried to get support from Credly and it said that I needed to contact the issuer of the badge. Credentials support page sent me to this forum.

In my learn profile, I am seeing my old certifications from years ago but nothing from the latest exam passed. I do understand that some certifications require passing more than one exam, but all the language seems to indicate to me that I can at least claim to be an "expert" in the one that I have passed and I should be able to get a badge from Credly. I would also expect that it should be showing in my learn profile.

Hello lady_mcse.

Welcome to Microsoft’s Community.

We understand that you need help finding your Certiport Badge. We will gladly assist.

Please note that Microsoft ended their partnership with Credly on June 30, 2023. This means that the badging services provided by Credly no longer apply for most of Microsoft Certifications (excepting certificates obtained via Certiport). After modernization and credly retirement there is no option to reissue or fix badges and these users have to use only learn platform to view and share the achievements.

On the other hand, please know that our Microsoft Credentials team is currently working to improve the overall integration of Certiport and Microsoft credentials records. As a result of this work, we are temporarily unable to populate Certiport-earned certifications into Microsoft Learn profiles or merge Certiport and Microsoft Learn profile contents.

At the moment the Team is working in this process to solve the inconvenience. However, we do not have an ETA. In the meantime, please be aware that you are still able to manage your Certiport-earned certifications from your Certiport Test Candidate account where you can view and download and share your certificates and your Certiport transcript.

In case you need further assistance to access your information via Certiport, please contact their support team using the links below:

We invite you to keep checking the platform to see if the problem has been resolved. In the meantime, we recommend sharing your certifications and badges through Certiport.

We hope this is useful to you, if there is anything else we can do for you, please do not hesitate to keep in contact with us.

If no additional assistance is required, please indicate “Yes” to the question and the thread will automatically be closed and locked. In case we do not receive a response, it will be closed and locked after one business day.
