MS Virtual Training days: Azure for Developers eligible for free exam ?

Congratulations on completing the training event for Azure developer! I truly admire your eagerness when it comes to your Microsoft career and I understand that you would like to know if you're qualified for a free exam. Let me give you the best guidelines regarding your events concerns.

Thank you for your response as well, teriaavibes. In addition to that, based on our latest update, all participants who attended the virtual training event before March 28, 2023, are eligible for the discount. All upcoming schedules will only be used solely for training and educational purposes after the specified date.

While this is true, you can participate in the Microsoft Cloud Skills Challenge | 30 Days to Learn It and get a 50% discount for eligible exams. 

On the other hand, if you are employed, I would suggest asking your company if they are affiliated with ESI since you can also receive a voucher-less discount for selected exams. You may check your eligibility by following this page: Vouchers and redeeming discounts | Microsoft Docs.

Meanwhile, if you're already an ESI Learner, please reach out to ESI Support Team as they are the ones who accommodate concerns using a company discount and can provide recommendations and other options. Please make sure to login using your company credentials (work email address) when signing in or creating a ticket.  

For your reference, note that all Fundamentals exams will qualify for the Student Offer's 30 percent discount (all regions including India and China), while non-fundamentals exams will receive a 45 percent discount (most regions except China and India). For everyone's visibility, our support team is now working on a public phasing document with this information.
