MTA Cloud Fundamentals Certificate

Hello,

On the 1st of May I took my 98-369 MTA: Cloud Fundamentals exam on pearson vue certiport.

I am able to view my certificate within certiport however when I click on 'official certificate', which re-directs me to the mcp.microsoft.com I am met with with an error page (https://mcp.microsoft.com/Error.html). I was also given a badge from Microsoft on Acclaim which validates my certification. I have looked on my microsoft learning dashboard (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/learning/dashboard.aspx) and there are no badges, certificates or transcripts showing for this certification.

I can confirm that the email address I used for the exam is the same as the email I am using on my learning dashboard.

I am sitting another MTA exam this Friday but this time I have been told to book the exam myself with pearson vue (not pearson vue certiport). My teacher told me to book the exam this time rather than them booking it for me. I don't understand why my first exam was on the certiport platform and is not providing me with my official certificate.

TLDR - I have done an MTA examination on a different platform owned by the same company that is hosting my next exam. Why am I unable to access my official certificate, have no record of the qualification in my microsoft learning dashboard and why do I only have a badge from microsoft?

Please could somebody assist me with this and help me get my certificate in my learning dashboard?

Thank you,

Dominic

Answer

Hello Dominic,

Thank you for completing the abovementioned process.

I have now successfully consolidated you accounts to the MCID ending in 9879. To gain access on your account, please follow the steps given below:

1.    Go to the Microsoft Certification Dashboard.

2.    Sign in with your preferred Microsoft account and password that you would like to link with your profile.

3.    Enter the Access Code along with the MCID to have your Microsoft account associated with your certification record. (Please see your Microsoft Certification Dashboard credentials through private message)

Once you have accomplished this, you will not be required to enter this information again. You can now use your preferred email address and password to log in to your Microsoft Certification account and register for exams in the future to avoid duplicate accounts.

In addition to this, please note that Access Code are only valid for 90 days after being generated. In the event that you have exceed the validity period, you would have to contact Microsoft Certification support team to generate another valid access code.

If this solves your problem, please indicate “Yes” to the question and the thread will automatically be closed and locked. In case we do not receive a response, the thread will be closed and locked after two business days. Please be advised that after the case is locked, we will no longer be able to respond, even through Private Messages.
