Multiple MS ID on Same account

Hello,

I have scheduled and Exam in Pearson , But the exam is not showing in the student Dashboard and i was not able to attend the exam today. As per pearson support, Multip MS IDs are linked to my email ID . How can you merge these MS IDs into a single account ?

Moved from: Certification Profile/ MCID Assistance

Hi nasmel,

Possible that your exam was scheduled under in different MSID this is why it is not showing on your dashboard.

To merge your profiles, please provide the requested information in the private message I initiated so I can locate and verify your account.

Open the private message by clicking the image below:

Meanwhile, below are the common reasons why duplicate profiles are created:

1.     Different information such as email, name format, home address, phone number and etc. were used during the exam registration/ visiting the Microsoft Certification Dashboard.

2.     The Microsoft Certification profile might not yet have associated to your registered email address.

3.     The system did not recognize your previous MC ID in exam registration/visiting the Certification Dashboard.

In the event that you have a pending scheduled exam, we recommend that you take it first before we process merge as it may result to exam deletion.

I look forward to your response. Please note that if no response is received after two business days, the case will be closed and locked. After the case is locked, we will no longer be able to respond, even through Private Messages. Thank you.

Hello nasmel,

Thank you for all the details you sent.

Through that, I have located and verified the profiles created for you, the second account was made due to home address discrepancy when you registered your exams.

Since we do not have visibility of which account has a registered exam, we can just provide to you instead the MCID and the Microsoft Account linked to each profiles.

Then, in order for you to check on your end which profile has exams, you can do the following options:

1.Log in to both accounts (**using the credentials I have sent through private message) to see the pending test. Exams should be found under the Appointment tile.

2.Contact PearsonVue to confirm which MSID the test has been scheduled.

Once we verified the correct MCID that has exams, we can proceed in merging your accounts and keep the profile that hold your booked exams.

I look forward to your response. Please note that if no response is received after two business days, the case will be closed and locked. After the case is locked, we will no longer be able to respond, even through Private Messages. Thank you.

Hello nasmel,

Thank you for your prompt response.

We recommend you to cancel your exams and book it again under the correct profile as merging your profiles will result to exam deletion.

On the other hand, you also have an option to take the exams first then inform us back by posting a new question so we can proceed with the consolidation of your accounts.

If this solves your problem, please indicate “Yes” to the question and the thread will automatically be closed and locked. In case we do not receive a response, the thread will be closed and locked after one business day. Please be advised that after the case is locked, we will no longer be able to respond, even through Private Messages. If the resolution provided did not resolve the issue, please post a new question.
