My certification does not appear in credly -> the congratulations e-mail does not container a 'Claim your badge' link.

My "Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate" badge earned on *removed*, does not appear automatically in Credly.

I can see it in learn.microsoft.com on my profile and transcript;

The 'Congratulations' e-mail does not contain a "claim your badge" link like the others do.

Please help with the 'Claim your badge' link so that I can add it to Credly.

Thank you!

Answer

Hello, Marian!

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.

Based on your inquiry, we understand you are unable to visualize and share your badge on Credly for your Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate. We are happy to help you.

Please note that Microsoft has ended their partnership with Credly on June 30. This means that the badging services provided by Credly no longer apply for most of Microsoft Certifications (excepting certificates obtained via Certiport). Our new scheme has changed from 'Badge sharing-based' to a 'Certification shared-based' scheme.

What is shared from your Learn Profile is the certification itself. We will provide the steps of this new experience so you can share your Certificate to the available social media platforms. Kindly follow the next steps to share your certificate:

  1. Sign into your Learn profile.

  2. Click on the photo avatar and select Profile from the dropdown menu.

  3. Select Certifications from the menu inside your profile.

  4. If you want others to be able to verify your shared certification, set your Learn profile view to public

  5. Scroll to the certification that you’d like to access and select “View certification details” below the description.

  6. Under the certification title, there are three options: “Print”, “Edit display name” and “Share.

  7. If you’d like to share your certification, select “Share.” Select the location to which you want to share your certification.

With this being confirmed, our badges sharing article information has been updated with all of the necessary details regarding the new Microsoft Certification sharing experience:

If you are not able to visualize your certificate on your Certification profile or if your Exam was taken with Certirport, please let us know and we will open a Private Message to provide you with our best solution.

We hope this is useful to you, if there is anything else we can do for you, please do not hesitate to keep in contact with us.

If no additional assistance is required, please indicate “Yes” to the question and the thread will automatically be closed and locked. In case we do not receive a response, it will be closed and locked after one business day.
