My certifications are expired for DP 203 and AZ 204 and I missed renewing it.

Based on your inquiry, we understand that your Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate and your Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate certificates renewal date has expired. We will gladly assist.

Please bear in mind that you must pass the renewal assessment on Microsoft Learn to renew your certification. There are no exceptions to this policy.

• Certifications expire one year after you earn them (except for Fundamentals Certifications, which do not expire).

• Please keep in mind that the Certification renewal date is based on the Certification expiration date—not the date that the learner passes the renewal. Although waiting until close to the expiration date won’t impact the renewal date, it’s best to take the renewal assessment well in advance of the expiration date.

• You can take the renewal assessment on Microsoft Learn at any time during your six-month eligibility window.

• We encourage learners to take the Certification renewal assessment well before the Certification expires. To allow time for retakes or any unforeseen events, we recommend that you start the Certification renewal process six months in advance of the Certification expiration.

If your Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate and your Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate certification has already expired, you'll need to pay again to retake the exam to renew it. There are no alternative paths to renewal, nor exceptions to this policy.
