My exam Got revoked by the proctor for the reason - I was looking Offscreen but I was reading question and given options and he was asking me to look at the webcam.

Hello There, 24-11-2023 I was giving my PL-300 examination, I ran a system test before before the examination. I have to show my surroundings, I coped promptly, and showed each and everything around me and there were no other electronic devices other than my System.

And I was just reading instruction proctor told not read and only whisper so I didnt read any question loud. just beginng of my test on Q4 and I got warning that I'm looking offscreen, I tried to explain to the proctor that I'm not looking off screen and I began to continue with exam. After a few questions again I got a second warning, and the proctor told me that he revoked my test, stating reason that I was looking off-screen. How can I look at the webcam while reading the questions and given options. I've given a test before but then I haven't got any issue like this.

I was literally shocked, even completing verification and even informing proctor that I have to read questions and options in examination, the proctor revoked the exam. This is tremendously unfair treatment towards those who take exams. After the exam was revoked, I tried to chat with the proctor he asked me to call the customer support.

I want Microsoft to look into this matter and provide me with any solution, and do justice with me for this unfair treatment. Thank you!

Helo Pravin,

Thank you for contacting the Microsoft Community.

I can only imagine how it feels like having your exam cancelled by the proctor. I understand that this was an important opportunity for you to demonstrate your knowledge and improve your abilities. Let me help you find a solution to have this issue resolved as soon as possible.

Please be advised that, according to Candidate Rules Agreement you are not allowed to look off the screen and mumble or speak aloud. These are the types of prohibited behaviors your proctor watches during your exam. Once your proctor feels that there's a violation of the guidelines, your exam will be cancelled.

Since you mentioned that you're looking at your screen during the exam, I recommend contacting Pearson VUE for assistance so they can review your exam and for options on how to proceed with your exam. You can reach out to them using the link below:
