My Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador program application has been under review for over 8 months. Does this mean I have been rejected, or is there a timeline for the selection process?

My application for the Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador program has been in review for more than 8 months now, and I have not received any updates regarding the status of my application. Given the extended period of time without any communication, I am concerned that my application may have been rejected. However, I would like to understand if there is still a chance of selection, or if there is a specific timeline for when applicants can expect to hear back regarding their status. Any information regarding the review process and expected decision timeline would be greatly appreciated.
