I just wanted to follow up with you to ensure all matters are properly handled. Please check the private message I initiated and verify the changes are visible; you may need to wait 24 hours before attempting to register for any exams.
In addition, as I proactively checked your account, I noticed that your name in the Pearson VUE system is still listed as your previous name. To update it, please follow these steps:
Go to Browse Credentials | Microsoft Learn and select an exam.
When you click the schedule button, you may be prompted to sign into/create your Learn Profile. Please ensure to login with your personal Microsoft account (MSA).
If you don't have a legal name on your Learn Profile, you will be redirected to add one. Please ensure your legal name matches your Legal ID. Otherwise, you won't be able to take the exam.
You will be prompted to fill out some information such as address, phone number, and contact email before you are redirected to Pearson Vue. This information is only collected since Pearson Vue requires it and Microsoft never stores this information.
Click "Submit" to go to Pearson Vue site. After that, you should be transferred to the Pearson VUE page. NOTE: Do not complete the exam registration, this is only to send the update to Pearson VUE.
Once this is accomplished, kindly note that it may take up to 24 hours for these updates to be completely visible.
If in any case, issue persists, please provide us with further information through the private message I initiated along with the step-by-step screenshot using Problem Steps Recorder (PSR) (click this link for MAC device) throughout the entire process starting from the sign-in page up until the last page that shows the error. This will help us identify the possible root cause of the issue and forward it to our Support Team.
