Need to link my personal MS account to my organization account

Hi Team,

I got the below steps for linking my personal MS account to organization account:

  1. Please visit Microsoft Learn.

  2. You will be directed to your Accenture Profile.

  3. Click on Credentials on left side and select Certification tab and click on "Connect Certification profile" highlighted in blue.

  4. This will redirect to the next page, select "Add your personal account" to this profile highlighted in blue.

I think due to some recent changes in the MS portal, points 3 and 4 are not visible to me.

Below are the account details:

Personal account: *Removed*
Organization account: *Removed*

Kindly help me in linking the accounts.

Thanks and Regards,

Hello Sanhit!

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft’s Community.

As we understand, you need assistance merging your work account with your personal one. We are happy to help.

On July 8th, Certification profile was migrated to Learn. Due to this, profile management is now self-service, meaning that our users are responsible from the usage or management of their Microsoft Learn profiles. Profile merging is now self-assisted by users.

To merge your accounts:

  1. Sign in to Microsoft Learn with your personal account.

  2. Select the profile icon in the top, right corner.

  3. Select Settings.

  4. Under Account Management, select Add account.

  5. Sign in with your work account.

If the account is already linked to another Microsoft Learn profile, you'll be prompted to merge the two accounts together. If you're interested in having the two Microsoft accounts on the same profile, follow the merge prompts. You can have up to five school or work accounts and one personal account linked to your profile to use for signing in. Linking a school or work account allows your organization to see your learning progress data. Linking a personal account allows you to access your learning progress regardless of your employment status.

Please refer to this article: Manage your Microsoft Learn profile settings | Microsoft Learn

If you run into any trouble while following these steps, please let us know. We will be happy to help.

We hope that this information helps resolve your request. If so, please let us know by choosing "Yes" where it says, "Did this solve your problem?" located at the lower right corner of this post.

If we do not receive a response, the thread will be closed and locked after one business day.
