Regards,

With respect, there is not a single Windows Server related thing in the Azure Security Engineer associate course so how an earth is that a pathway that Windows Server engineers should be taking?

What Azure certificate will teach a server engineer about servers?

Please enlighten us all, because I can't find one. Thanks.

Hello greg88---,

I understand that you are looking for new Windows Server certification path.

Please be advised that Microsoft will no longer release Windows Server 2019 and SQL Server 2019 certifications . Thus, Windows Server 2019 and SQL Server 2019 content will be included in role-based certifications on an as-needed basis for certain job roles in the Azure Apps & Infrastructure and Data & AI solution areas.

With this, you may want to check on the recommended certification paths and review their content.

MCSE: Core Infrastructure

Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

MCSA: Windows Server 2012

Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

MCSA: Windows Server 2016

MCSE: Productivity Solutions Expert

First, take one of these:

MCSA: Windows Server 2012

Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
