New certification-SC-401: Administering Information Security in Microsoft 365

Based on your inquiry, we understand you want to check when the training materias and resources for the new Microsoft Certified: Information Security Administrator Associate(beta) will be available. We are happy to help you!

Thank you for your interest in taking the new Exam SC-401: Administering Information Security in Microsoft 365, keep in mind that this exam and the corresponding certifications are in the beta phase and will become available in around April 2025 (in this moment the certificate and exam are still in the beta phase)

During this period, Microsoft gathers valuable data to evaluate the quality of the exam questions and overall structure. As a result, training materials and learning paths are not yet available. Once the certification moves out of beta and becomes officially live, all related course materials and training sessions will be released to support exam preparation. About the preparation materials and the courses: currently the course SC-401T00: Information Security Administrator, will be released on April 25th, 2025, and this course will be the preparation for the certification, kindly check the information of the course details at the following link:

In the meantime while the exam is still in the Beta phase if you are interested in taking this exam, we recommend you the following:

• Review the exam details: this new certification is a great fit if you work with other roles that are responsible for governance, data, and security to evaluate and develop policies to address an organization’s information security and risk reduction goals.
