Not able to create Certification Profile. Very Bad experience with this whole MS Cert program registration

Team.

I am trying for last 3 hours to get a profile created and every time it fail s with INVALID Phone with some random error code.  I am not sure what details it need. I tried giving the details many times but it still shows the same error.

Also the help is pathetic. No direct support to page and after much search was able to find thsi. Most of the forums are LOCKED where people have reported similar issue.


Giving up on this Certification and also on usage.

I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.

 

With regards to locked threads, note that we are assisting candidate case to case basis and we recommend to post your own thread instead.

 

For creating a Certification profile, make sure to provide your area code + phone number.

 

In the event that you don’t have an area code, you may use the first three digit of your phone number then provide the rest on the phone number field.

 

In addition, please remove any Special Characters (like., \! @ # etc.,) from your Name and Address, save & continue.

 

I would also suggest for you to follow the troubleshooting steps to sort out your issue.

 

  1. Use a different browser in incognito/InPrivate (Chrome/Mozilla/Safari) and make sure you have downloaded the latest version of the browsers.

    For MS Edge browser, you can download the new browser here.

  2. Should the issue persist clear cache and cookies (steps here). Make sure you check Preserve Favorites website data and check both Temporary Internet Files and Cookies then click Delete.

  3. Allow all third party cookies through the browser settings.

 

If the above steps do not resolve your issue, please provide us with a PSR (Problem Steps Recorder) from the troubleshooting steps until the error message via private message along with the requested information so we may continue troubleshooting with you.

 

You may also adjust the limit of 25 screenshots as a default to a higher number of pictures to show the process. Please change the number to at least 100 screenshots in the tool’s settings.
