I tried to take the Microsoft AZ-900 five times this evening, and every time I couldn't start the exam because the OnVue TestTakerSBBrowser demanded that Finder was closed. Clearly the developers of the OnVue app don't understand MacOS, because when Finder is closed here, it crashes all other applications including their own app.
Has anyone else experienced this and knows how to resolve it? I am running MacOS 13.1 on a late 2020 M1 MacBook Pro. The Pearson OnVue app is too restrictive and demands too many permissions to function. I am really disappointed with Microsoft and PearsonVue.

Hi Trương,
Thank you for contacting the Microsoft Community.
I know the importance of completing an exam and I’m saddened to hear if it didn’t go as seamlessly as expected. Allow me to provide the corresponding team that can assist you promptly with any possible technical or network issues encountered.
Listed in the OnVUE Technical Requirements for the Candidate are currently only the requirements being accepted when planning to take an exam online. Pearson VUE strongly advises against the use of equipment that does not meet or exceed the Recommended Specifications. The minimum requirements will be updated on a regular basis based on the needs of our exam sponsors.
Since your device is applicable for an online proctored online exam, for real-time assistance, it is highly advisable to contact your exam delivery provider in order to determine the best course of action for any problems that arise during the exam. Also, they have the right tools to process rescheduling and any modification request for an exam appointment as well as identifying seats available. Please visit the link below to get the phone number of your region or you may directly contact their support through chat platform:
Pearson Vue: https://home.pearsonvue.com/microsoft/contact
You can also run a system test to check if your device is compatible with the OnVUE testing requirements.
Let me know how things turned out so that I can be of additional assistance if necessary.
