Pearson Vue cancelled my Exam due to my name change that Microsoft helped me change 2 weeks ago.

Hello Support,

Almost **Removed** I booked an AZ-104 exam that cost me almost 200 euros excluding taxes, on your website. After I booked the exam, I found out that my old name did not match my new legal name on my ID.

So I contacted Pearson Vue support to inform them about this, they told me that they can't change my name, only Microsoft can change my legal name.

So there I was on this support site asking you guys to change my name, wich you did nicely :).

**Removed**, the day I wanted to take my exam, Pearson Vue decided to cancel my exam because my name did not match what they have on their system.

After hearing this I was very shocked. I told them that Microsoft changed my legal name **Removed**!!!!

How come they didn't get this or why didn't they check my Microsoft ID. !!!shambles !!!

I'm still pissed because they made it sound like it was my fault because I didn't change my name with Microsoft.

What really pissed me off is that they even told me that the chances of me getting my money back or rescheduling the exam are very slim.

I WANT MY EXAM TO BE RESCHEDULED OR MY MONEY BACK ASAP....... !

Pearson vue also created a ticket on this issue ill send it in private chat.

I also appreciate your time and effort in providing a screenshot of the confirmation email you just received. You are indeed correct. Pearson VUE, with the assistance of our Support Team, has already rescheduled your exam to a later date. This was done as part of our ongoing efforts to coordinate with Pearson VUE for the rescheduling option of your AZ-104 exam.

In case you want to reschedule your exam to your most convenient date and time, please follow the steps below and ensure to process it at least 24 hours prior to the appointment to avoid the fee being forfeited:

  1. Sign in to Microsoft Learn using the email address associated with your Credentials (certification) profile.

  2. Click your profile photo avatar or name initials in the upper right corner and select Profile from the drop-down menu.

  3. Go to Credentials from the menu inside your profile dashboard and select Certifications beside Applied Skills.

  4. Scroll down to your AZ-104 appointment and choose the Reschedule link.

  5. Once selected, you will be redirected to the exam delivery provider’s site to reschedule your exam.

Note: In line with Reschedule and cancellation, please know that it must be processed at least 24 hours prior to the appointment to avoid the fee being forfeited.

Meanwhile, I've reviewed the recent confirmation email you sent, and I can confirm that the updated name is now correctly displayed on their portal, as indicated by the email.
