Pearson VUE exam for PMI-ACP
I had scheduled my exam on 23rd. It refused to launch. I went through 3 proctors on chat and audio. The last one revoked the exam and asked me to reschedule and use a different PC!
I have rescheduled to Friday. I have been trying to get across to Pearson VUE help - the wait times are over an hour, time I could spend studying. My new laptop is showing a similar problem, exam refuses to launch when I run the test. PC passed all the prior tests. The only failure happens at the end, when I am asked to Launch Simulation. Page freezes, a message comes up saying try again, something went wrong.
So it looks like the next attempt will also end in failure. Unfortunately, there is no assistance of any sort available from Pearson VUE prior to the exam - the generic online chat is not really an option, if I have to wait for an hour, despite as message saying 'responding in under 2 minutes'!
Is there any technical reason why the secure browser is not able to function? Pearson VUE uses its own browser, with no controls such as enabling cookies etc. I have tried with setting the UAC off, and running the initial program as adminsitrator.
