Pearson Vue Exam Revoked by Proctor

Hello,

I have scheduled my DP - 203 Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure for ***removed***.

I have completed the intial steps asked by the proctor and my exam was launched successfully. After approximately 5mins the proctor messaged me to refrain from looking away from the screen and i have acknowledged it with a reply in the pop-up chatbox. I was reading through the questions of the case study when the intial warning message popped up. And as the exam continued i received a message in the chatbox stating that my exam was revoked and that a case id has been issued. Even before i could completely go through the message the chatbox disappeared and the platform was closed.

Now my question is that when we read something our eyes automatically move which is natural. I don't understand how can someone read without moving their eyes and how can that be restricted.

I understand the terms of the exam and am happy to follow them. But this is completely outrageous and inappropriate to revoke the exam based on something on which we have no control over.

This isn't my first exam with Pearson Vue and i haven't had any issues earlier but this time it was completely out of blue to see the exam being revoked. I have contacted the Pearson support from where i had to get my case id and was informed that it would take around 3-4 businesses days for the case to be resolved. I'm not even sure if am even eligible to book another appointment by again investing my time and money for it.

I would kindly request you to please look into the issue and help me resolving it ASAP.

Hello rohith,

I hope you are having a wonderful time.

Great news! as discussed, we managed to have your DP - 203 exam to be rescheduled, to a future time and date and you can reschedule the exam as well, please be sure to reschedule or cancel exam appointments at least 24 hours before the scheduled date and to avoid being tagged as "No show" on your exam schedule. I have provided the steps below for your reference.

  1. Open the latest Microsoft Edge, use InPrivate and clear cache and cookies then restart browser.

  2. Go to your Microsoft Learn profile and proceed to the Credentials tab under the Challenges.

  3. You should be able to see your Appointment Schedules and Certifications.

  4. Scroll to the exam appointment you wish to reschedule and click “Reschedule”.

  5. You will be redirected to the exam delivery provider’s site to cancel or reschedule your exam. You can visit the Exam registration and cancellation page for more information.

In any case, if you are planning to take a break using the breaks feature during your exam, it is best to confirm with your proctor first that you are indeed taking a break and using the feature through the OnVUE app before leaving the view of the camera. This is to avoid your exam being revoked.

Please let me know if there is more that I can assist you with and we will be more than happy to assist you.

Otherwise, if this solves your problem, please indicate "Yes” to the question and the thread will automatically be closed and locked. In case we do not receive a response, the thread will be closed and locked after one business day. Please be advised that after the case is locked, we will no longer be able to respond, even through private messages. If the resolution provided did not resolve the issue, please post a new question.

Sincerely,
