When I did a pre-exam check, everything was Okay - mic/sound check, internet speed check, and camera access check.
By exam date, I tried logging in 15 minutes before the exam. I opened the OnVue app. On the first screen, the same tests as the pre-exam check was made - mic/sound check, internet speed check, and camera access check - and all tests were green. After it was
confirmed that all 3 checks are good, I was asked to confirm my age, to take a photo of my self and my work station. After that I was brought to a screen with a pane showing myself being recorded and I started waiting for the proctor.
I waited but no proctor was assigned to me 30 minutes after the scheduled exam start time. I closed the window and checked if everything is okay - internet access and my computer did not freeze.
Seeing that everything is fine, I logged back into the application. I entered the same access code I used as the first log in. I was asked to confirm my age, and take a photo of myself and my work station - this time I was able re-use the same photos I took the first time. And I was brought to the screen showing myself being recorded and waited for about 5 seconds before a proctor contacted me. She told me she cannot see me. I told her (we were speaking with each other - mic is working) I can see myself on the screen and I did all the pre-exam checks, etc. But since she cannot see me, she told me to close the application and check the firewall is off.
I confirmed that Firewall was Off and that on my privacy settings, OnVue is allowed to access my camera.
After confirming that firewall is turned off, I tried logging in back to onVue. However, I can no longer do so as my access code is now invalid.
I contacted the customer service to raise a ticket and told me that I should receive a confirmation mail that a ticket is raised but I still have not received the confirmation e-mail.
Can someone please assist me on rescheduling the exam. I would appreciate it If someone can provide me the confirmation e-mail as well.
