Pearson VUE proctor system test is anonymous

Hi

I am trying to perform a system test having scheduled an online exam proctored by Pearson VUE. I have my registration details all confirmed in the email following the purchase of the exam, and can successfully download the proctor client and perform the test from my MS cert dashboard, but ONLY in anonymous login so the proctor cannot record the system test results.

Last time i used PSI as my online exam proctor but Microsoft now only use Pearson VUE in the UK.

Here is the message i get from Pearson VUE:

"

You are not logged in.

This means we cannot record your system test results.

To check in on exam day, you must complete a successful system test.

Your system test results will not be recorded unless you are logged in to OnVUE. To log in, use the system test link in your exam confirmation email (or access that link by logging into your account), then run the test using the same device and network you plan to use on exam day.

If you wish to continue with an anonymous system test, click the “Next” button.

"

My question and concern is whether this will prevent me taking the exam. The exam launch button is present and active in my dashboard and the system test passed but since i have never been provided with a separate Pearson VUE account I have no credentials to preform this other than anonymously via my dashboard and i'm concerned that I will not be routed to the exam on test day. Should i be concerned or is this normal?

many thanks for any advice.

Answer

Hi Steven,

Thank you for contacting the Microsoft Community.

Note that you should have a Certification Profile in order to check the credential details that was used in scheduling your exam.

Also, you may check your confirmation email for exam registration to see what account was used and it should be the same log in information that you will be using on the exam day.

Should you need further assistance, I would recommend you to contact Pearson VUE as they will assist you in checking your account information. You may see their contact information below:
