Person VUE is a disaster and they let me down. I need help from Microsoft for a solution.

I was with the phone taking photos + the laptop needed for the check-in process pre-exam. After when I completed the check-out and before starting the exam, I went to another room to leave my phone there, and silence it, because their rules state that the phone must be far away and on silence mode. Then I came back to the laptop and clicked the button to start the exam, and during the first question, I was kicked out, just 20 seconds after starting the exam questions with a message that I was not on camera!!

The support is not responding and is not refunding, or rescheduling the exam. I see I am also blocked on the Microsoft certificate page to book a new exam.

They do not have clear rules for the OnVUE online proctoring process. They do not have an interactive video explaining the rules, especially for a first-timer like me. They state the rules in a text which are ambiguous and contradictory. And they apply strange rules in the check-in process, while the camera rule must apply in the exam and not in the check-in.

It was my first exam experience, and now I am down and blocked to continue any further with Microsoft certificates. Is there a solution Microsoft can provide?

I just received an update coming from our Support Team that they have cancelled your exam, please expect the refund within 3-5 business days and will depend on your bank's billing cycles. Once completed, it will be issued to the same card used. You may schedule a new exam appointment by following the steps below:

  1. From any certification or exam details page, click the button to schedule an exam with the appropriate exam delivery provider.

  2. When you click the schedule button, you may be prompted to sign into your certification profile with your personal Microsoft account (MSA). If you don’t yet have a certification profile, create one here with the same MSA you use to sign into Learn.

  3. Make sure your contact information is up to date on your certification profile and that your name matches the legal identification you’ll present at your scheduled exam appointment; if it doesn’t match, you won’t be able to take the exam. To learn how to update your legal name, visit Manage your certification profile. When your profile is complete, select “Save and continue” (or “Continue” if you’re verifying).

  4. Any available discounts will be listed at the top of the page. In the box below, you can check your discount eligibility for other email addresses (e.g., your work email address; another personal email address). For more detailed information, visit Vouchers and redeeming discounts. Once your discounts are claimed, select “Schedule exam” to be redirected to your exam delivery provider.

  5. Follow the on-screen steps to select a location, schedule your exam appointment, and complete payment (if applicable).
