Person Vue Issue with using the screen as touch..

Hello would like to post about an unpleasant experience with my exam today,

after some troubles with he testing program giving me error about needing me to close MMC which was not open, After a few reboots was able to do the test. get in start doing testing, out of habit i happen to use the touch screen to keep my hands in view of the camera! No apparent reason i was failed and kicked out of the exam.

what a complete waste of an hour and money. no valid reason to fail me other than using my hand to touch the screen while i was reading the screen and selecting menus i got kicked with no explanation. Wondering i can get any information on to why this happened as honestly has changed if ill do another exam with them online instead of something else.. first was complaint about headset so i got rid of it put it in the far corner of the room. sent the pictures everything in my office was fine no issues. half way through the test randomly close me out and now im done..

yeah, this was a mistake in general but I never once seen this nothing was stated about this sure it might be in some minor text, but it was very hidden, it's not like touch screen means I'm cheating. people point at things when they read all the time. I didn't use it the entire time I accidently clicked like twice. they could have said please don't use touch screen. What a excuse to say pay again for exam clearly what this was.

so because they buried a restriction deep in documentation saying touch screens are forbiden im out the cost of the exam, If only this was clearly stated or posted instead of buried in fine print.

By restricting the use of touch screens, they ensure that all candidates are using similar equipment, which helps maintain fairness.

On the other hand, for issues that you will experience
before, during, or after your exam, it is also best to contact Pearson Vue for immediate assistance as they are the ones that handle issues experienced on the On VUE application. You can choose either the call or chat option for real-time assistance.

After coordinating with the Pearson VUE Support Team, please provide the Case ID so we can monitor the case. This will also allow me to forward the case to our support team if further assistance is needed.

So Say i made one mistake and accidentally pushed my screen while making sure to read the sentence correctly. that means fail also? How does me using a touch screen give me an advantage. So What i am hearing is good luck next time use a cheaper computer. i cant make any human mistakes as we get no warnings or care from the person Vue company. just a cash grab.. i have lost half a day to this already and cost people money. Not sure if im going to take this exam again at this point as i really don't see any benefit of doing this twice. id rather look at other certification, So Nose case

Really hope i can get some assistance as id rather not pay twice for the exact same exam over accidently touching the screen. either way i look forward to your reply and i hope we can come to some proper resolution for this as this has been a quite unplessant experience. weeks of studying and seems like i wont be taking the exam.

thank you trying, this will probably be my last MS exam for a while after this experience. I can't say anyone has reached out other than to say heres case number. not sure what posting is going to accomplish other than to hear that yeah i used a touuch screen lesson learned i guess no actual support or care here. BAU right? lol.. Moving on with life.
