Hi,

I am trying to take Exam DA-100 : Analyzing Data With Power BI certification via Pearson VUE by my work account. But getting this error "Please login with your personal Microsoft Account (eg: @hotmail.com) to create/edit your Microsoft Certification profile." Please do the needful.

Hello Banuprasaad,

 

Thank you for your interest in taking a Microsoft Certification Exam.

 

In order to book an exam, you need to create a Microsoft Certification Profile first using a personal/Microsoft Account.

 

Note that the system will only accept personal/Microsoft account and this is the reason why you are receiving the error message.

 

To register your exam, please follow the steps below:

 

  1. Use the new MS Edge browser that you can download here.

  2. Make sure that to disable the Block all third party cookies function from the settings.

  3. Go to Microsoft Certification Dashboard.

  4. Sign with your Microsoft account and password. If you don’t have one, you can create here.

  5. On Your Dashboard, click Schedule next exam to select and schedule your exam.

  6. After choosing the exam, go to Edit your certification profile.

  7. Fill out the information marked with asterisk *. Make sure that the information is correct and does not have any special characters then click Save and Continue.

  8. If you don’t have any exam discount, please click Schedule exam.

 

In you are still encountering issues during the process, please provide the PSR (Problem Steps Recorder)  of the incident starting from the sign in page until you reach the error along with the requested details through private message so we can escalate it to our Support team. (please make sure to capture all steps above including the troubleshooting steps done in the PSR).
