Printable Certificate

It is a great integration of Certification Dashboard.

But, after renovated, I found that the "Print certificate" link brings me to a browser friendly page to show me the certificate instead of generating a A4 fit printable document (e.g. pdf/jpge/etc.). Even I clicked the print button, it is something like printing a "card" wraped with browser default header and footer...

Would the team bring that download as a printable document function back to the Certification Dashboard?

Thanks!!

Answer

Hello Mickell Man,

I completely understand your concern. To get a printable certificate follow the steps below :

1) Go to the Certification Dashboard. Navigate to your certificate in "Certifications" section and under the certificate of your choice click "View certification details" (Refer Image below)

2) On the next page, click "Print Certificate".

3) You should see 3 buttons on top of your certificate. Click "Print".

4) Now you will get to a Print Dialog from your browser. In that ensure you have selected "Save as PDF" and then click "More Settings".

5) In the "More Settings" section, ensure the "Margins" option is set to None.

6) In the "More Settings" section, you should see 2 checkboxes : 1- "Headers and Footers" and 2- "Background Graphics". Ensure they are set as shown in the image below. And then click Save. (Note: You may need to scroll down a bit in the "More Settings" section if you have a smaller screen).

7) Viola! You have a printable certificate now.

Please note the above solution uses Google Chrome. If you use another browser, I can assure you that the same steps will work on MSEdge (because its based on Chromium) and Chromium. I am 99% sure that the same steps will work on Firefox as well but can not say because I hardly use Firefox.

If this solves your problem, please indicate “Yes” to the question (Did this reply solve your problem?) beneath this reply. If you have any further questions you may reply here.
