Problems logging in and finding the exam I signed up for.

I signed up to take an exam. I got the emails to verify. I came to look at the other dates to maybe reschedule and it turns out I cant log in with the email that I scheduled the exam for.

I spoke to pearsonvue and they confirmed I signed up with *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

But I cant log in to my Microsoft account with that? how is that possible?

My account through my company is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***... but when I try to schedule an exam under that, I get an error that tells me I need to log in with my personal Microsoft account (eg. hotmail)

What is going on?

How do I clear this up and schedule an exam?
