Proctor revoked my exam(AZ-104), and the reason is - I was looking Offscreen but I was reading question and given options and he was asking me to look at the webcam.

proctor revoked my exam stating looking off screen today. he did not even ask me to show the room or asked any justification. Just posted the message stating your exam is being revoked and a case ID (which I could not completely read) and closed the chat and exam). When I called customer support, they told me that the issue will be investigated, and I receive and email in 72-Hrs. How could they investigate at later point and proctor did not even try to check my room or surroundings. what would be my next steps other than waiting for them to contact me to get this issue resolved. There is not option to contact proctor back as well and I want Microsoft to look into this matter and provide me with any solution and do justice with me for this unfair treatment. Thank you!

Note: On website, I could see that the exam AZ-104 which I have attempted is passed and able to download the certificate.

Hi lakshmi,

Thank you for contacting the Microsoft community.

It's unfortunate to know that your exam got revoked by the proctor without any explanation. I know the feeling of being stopped on something we worked hard because it makes us lose our focus. Let me help you provide solution regarding with your concern.

As per checking Pearson VUE guideline, your eyes must face forward at all times, and you may not cover your webcam.

On the other hand, congratulations on passing the exam despite the incident happened. Since you mentioned that they provided you a case ID, kindly share it along with the personal information I listed in the Private Message that you can also access so that I can make a follow-up to our support team. This will help us know the progress of Pearson VUE’s investigation about your case.

I'll wait for your response.

I look forward to your response. Please note that if no response is received after two business days, the case will be closed and locked. After the case is locked, we will no longer be able to respond, even through Private Messages. Thank you.

Thanks for your response on this issue. I have shared the information requested by you in private message.

But I have received an e-mail from PearsonVue today stating that the Microsoft exam AZ-104 which was taken by me on 27th of October, has been delivered successfully and the result has been acknowledged by Microsoft (case has been closed).

Can you please confirm if am good with the certificate awarded and no further issues with this exam?

Thanks & Regards,

Lakshmi N

Hi lakshmi,

Thank you again for getting my call.

As we've discussed in our private conversation, I checked that your case is resolved and your AZ-104 credentials (certifications) can be viewed in your MS Learn dashboard.

I'd truly appreciate it if you could put "YES" in our public post question and after that we'll go ahead closing and locking the thread. If you need further assistance, please post a new question.

Much obliged,
