Hello, I have Microsoft certifications that are currently linked to my old school account, which has been disabled since I left the school. I have the Microsoft Certification ID (MCID) and can provide information about the time I obtained the certifications, the testing location, my name, and address. Is there a way for me to recover my transcript and transfer it to a new Microsoft account? I've seen a similar situation where a user was able to resolve this issue with the help of a Microsoft Agent. Can you please guide me on the steps to recover my certifications and associate them with my current email address? Thank you!

Hi, DonovanZU!
Thanks for the information provided via Private Message. After checking your account details, we ask you to perform the following actions on your Certification Profile to complete the necessary alignment to use your MCID.
Please follow the steps below update your Email, this procedure is called Migration.
Open your Microsoft Edge Browser and begin a Microsoft Edge InPrivate browsing session by pressing the key combination Ctrl + Shift + N.
Copy and paste this link into the private window’s address bar: https://mcp.microsoft.com/mcp/home/migrate
Sign in with the Microsoft Email Account that you want to use in your Microsoft's Certification Profile.
If you are shown an error message, please select the option “MCP HOME” which will direct you to Your Dashboard. You can then copy and paste the same link into the search bar on step.
Once you are on Your Dashboard, please copy and paste this link: https://mcp.microsoft.com/mcp/home/migrate on the same tab you are working on.
After completing these steps, the Migration screen should come up. The website should look like this:

Hello, DonovanZU!
We hope everything is going well for you.
After checking the information, we determined that your Certification Profile and your Learn Profile are unlinked. It is necessary to connect the profiles.
Here are the steps to Connect your MS Learn to the Certification profile:
Sign into Learn using the same personal Microsoft account (MSA) you use to sign into your certification profile.
Click on the Learn profile photo avatar and select Profile from the drop-down menu.
Select Credentials from the menu inside your profile.
Select the tab Certifications.
Click the “Connect certification profile” button on the certifications page.
Once the connection is complete, you’ll never worry about separate certification and Learn profiles again.
Please let us know the results of the procedure and if you have more questions regarding this matter.
If this solves your problem, please indicate “Yes” to the question and the thread will automatically be closed and locked. In case we do not receive a response, it will be closed and locked after two business days.
Kind regards,

Hello Franklin Torres,
Thank you for your instructions on linking my MS Learn profile to the Certification profile. I followed the steps as outlined:
I signed into Learn using the same personal Microsoft account (MSA) that I use to sign into my certification profile.
I clicked on the Learn profile photo avatar and selected "Profile" from the drop-down menu.
In my profile, I selected "Credentials" from the menu.
I went to the "Certifications" tab.
I clicked the "Connect certification profile" button on the certifications page.
I'm pleased to inform you that my MCID is now showing up in my Learn profile. However, I still do not see any of my certificates listed there. Is there any additional step I should take to ensure that my certificates are correctly linked to my Learn profile?
Thank you for your help.
Best regards,
