Regarding MSCD certification

Hi! Im currently studying for MCSA web applications and im going the take the exam 70-486, but i saw that in order to get an MCSD, you could either pass 70-486 along with other exams, does this mean that if i pass 70-486, i would get the MCSA and the MCSD certifications?

Hello AliNazar,

In order to earn the MCSD: App Builder certification, you must obtain one of the two qualifying MCSA certifications: MCSA: Web Applications and MCSA: Universal Windows Platform.

If you wish to complete the MCSA: Web Applications, you have to pass either exam 70-480 or 70-783 along with exam 70-486. Afterwhich, you may pass any of the elective exams listed below -

Please note that since an exam cannot be used to satisfy the requirements for both an MCSA and an elective in the same MCSE path, you must choose another elective exam aside from 70-486 because it has already fulfilled the requirement for the qualifying MCSA certification (MCSA: Web Applications).
