Answer

Hello, Jere.

Welcome to Microsoft Community.

We understand that you are facing issues completing the renewal of your certificate.

First, please let's follow the troubleshooting steps below, to rule out browser-related issues:

1. Make sure to use an up-to-date browser. (e.g., Edge).

2. Clear cache and cookies (Steps here), make sure you check Preserve Favorites website data and check both, Temporary Internet Files and Cookies, and then click Delete.

3. On the Delete Browsing History window, make sure to uncheck Preserve Favorites website data and check both, Temporary Internet Files and Cookies, then click Delete.

4. Allow all third-party cookies through browser settings.

5. Please make sure that you have the latest version of the Edge browser or Internet Explorer.

Also, for the renewal process you will receive the renewal email on the primary email of your Microsoft certification profile. Please keep in mind, for this process on Microsoft Learn, it is necessary to use the same email of your certification profile.

To check to which Learn profile your certification ID is linked, you need to get into Microsoft Learn | Microsoft Docs, and login with the same credentials account you use to see Your Dashboard.

Next, after login, the platform is going to make filters with information according to your profile and preferences.

If this information is of your interest remember that Microsoft Learn is a free, online training platform that provides interactive learning for Microsoft products and more.

We inform you that in the event that you log in with the same credentials on both sites the profile is automatically linked, no other process is required.

Also, to do this process please keep in mind the following:

  • To identify which certifications are available for you to renew, visit your Certification Dashboard.

  • As soon as you’re eligible to renew, you will receive an email notification directing you to the assessment that will be available on Microsoft Learn (make sure to check the SPAM/ junk folder).

  • When you pass the online assessment, your certification will be extended by one additional year from the current expiration date.

  • To help prepare for the assessment, advance your skills with a collection of free, self-paced learning modules. Explore available modules associated on the certification renewal page.

If this solves your problem, please indicate “Yes” to the question and the thread will be closed and locked. In case we do not receive a response, it will be closed and locked in the next two business days.
