Request for Assistance Regarding Microsoft Certification Certificate for SC-100

We understand that you passed Exam SC-100, but certificate is still not available under the certification tab. We will gladly assist.

Please know that if you accomplish a Learning Path to get a Certification, you will see it under this space in Your Dashboard. However, if you approve only an Exam or a prerequisite alone associated with the title, your results will be visible under Transcript. 

It is important to bear in mind that an expired certificate is the same as not having the certificate, this would mean that the pathway is incomplete.

Please know that the Exam SC-100 is part of the conditions to obtain the Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert.

You can follow the links below for more information on the prerequisites for Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate. You need to choose, schedule and pass one of the below Certificates:

-         Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate

-         Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate

-         Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate

The Score Report can be downloaded from your Dashboard or the Test Center’s portal, and you should see the approved Exam in your Transcript.

Please bear in mind that your Transcript can be use as form of accreditation. You can share it to demonstrate you have achieved Exam SC-100.

You can view, share, and print your transcript from your Learn profile:

• Sign into your Learn profile.

• Click on the photo avatar and select Profile from the dropdown menu.

• In the profile menu, select Transcript. Your transcript displays all successfully completed certifications and modules.

• Select “Share link” to generate an online link to your transcript you can share with potential employers. Save, share, or email a copy of your transcript, from the Print link. (Choose “Save to PDF” or print from the Printer drop-down menu. You can then attach the downloaded PDF to an email, print, or save it for your records.)

Can you be more specific please.

Correct if I am wrong in order to see the sc-100 certification badge in the certification module I need to complete any of the prerequisite exams?

In the exams tab I can see that sc-100 is present and passed status is visible only in the certification tab I don't see the sc-100 badge.

Indeed, as we mentioned in our previous response, a complete the pathway is the only way to obtain the Certificate.

So in order for you to have the Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect Expert Certification, you need to take and pass, one of the prerequisites so it is active in your Profile.

Please note that Microsoft ended their partnership with Credly on June 30, 2023. This means that the badging services provided by Credly no longer apply for most of Microsoft Certifications (excepting certificates obtained via Certiport). After modernization and credly retirement there is no option to reissue or fix badges and these users have to use only learn platform to view and share the achievements.

Our new scheme has changed from 'Badge sharing-based' to a 'Certification shared-based' scheme.

What is shared from your Learn Profile is the certification itself. We will provide the steps of this new experience so you can share your Certificate to the available social media platforms.

1. Sign into your Learn profile.

2. Click on the photo avatar and select Profile from the dropdown menu.

3. Select Certifications from the menu inside your profile.

4. If you want others to be able to verify your shared certification, set your Learn profile view to public

5. Scroll to the certification that you’d like to access and select “View certification details” below the description.

6. Under the certification title, there are three options: “Print”, “Edit display name” and “Share.”

7. If you’d like to share your certification, select “Share.” Select the location to which you want to share your certification.
