Request to Transfer Certification Profile to New Email

Dear Microsoft Certification Team,

I have recently left my previous organization and no longer have access to the work email account associated with my Microsoft Learn profile and PL-300 certification.

I would like to transfer my certification profile and records to my new email so I can continue accessing and managing my certifications.

Please let me know if you require any additional verification or documents.

We understand that you want to transfer the profile from the old work account to your personal email. We will gladly assist.

Please be informed that due to the updates that have been implemented to the Learn platform over the course of the past few days, and the improvements in our security processes, our support team is no longer able to change any Microsoft Accounts associated with the Certification Profiles.

This means that previous services related to Certification Profiles (merging, migrations, legal name change, etc.) are now self-assisted by users.

With that said, we recommend you try to access the Learn portal using all the possible accounts that might have been used to schedule the exams.

If you are unable to access any accounts, we suggest you contact the Accounts and Billing Department by calling 1- 877-568-2495 in Canada, this team has trained professionals to help resolve your issue. For more useful information: Recover your account (live.com).

 
You must search on your records for any possible access credentials (email or phone) and check in which of them your certification progress is contained.

To locate the correct profile, we suggest trying all possible email addresses. Here are some tips to recover unexpected email addresses:

 

  1. Check your browser history and save passwords.

  2. Verify all email accounts you may have.

  3. Check all emails domains.

  4. Review all your previous work and personal accounts in MS Learn.

Thanks Isabel Lopez for your prompt reply.

But, I am not able to recover my work account associated with Learn profile as that work account has been already retired upon me leaving my earlier organization. And, I did not have any personal account linked to that Learn profile.

However, while I registered for the exam, I gave my gmail as the contact e-mail so I had got the exam related notifications on my gmail with candidate ID and registration ID. But, the post-exam score and certification comms have gone to my work email it seems because I haven't received those in my gmail. Also, my gmail linked MS Learn profile doesn't show up those certificates.

So, as a last resort, if I furnish you candidate ID and registration IDs along with PersonVue mails as a proof of my candidature, can you kindly help transfer the certificates from my work account MS Learn profile to my personal account (gmail) MS Learn profile.

Remember that our support team cannot assist in recovering accounts from any given Learn Profile. The contact email is different from the login account. For that reason, it is important to set personal email as primary to avoid issues.

If your MCP profile was not previously linked with Microsoft Learn, your information was not migrated. Please remember that these were two separate platforms, and without the proper setup, no data was transferred, and unfortunately, we do not have information on old profiles.
