Retrieve old MCP/MCSE/MCDBA certification from **********

Hello,

Around ******* I completed the all individual exams required for the MCSE and MCDBA qualifications with Prometric.

However since then I have lost all the certificates, and don't have any further info regarding them, so I am lacking any evidence that I actually ever held these qualifications.

How can I go about retrieving them?

Hi Santiago,

1. Unfortunately I can't exactly recall the the old email address which I used to register myself for the exams, therefore I'm not able to use the "Recover Your Account" feature

2. Additionally, I do not see a private message.. this is what I see:

Please advise me how to proceed.

Are you able to search a central database on MCP exam passes by name & date?

To validate information, via private message. To proceed with your account, it needs to be Migrated. This process will help us to show your certificates and associate your account.

Remember to make the process well, in Step 3 you must Access with a Microsoft account that has not been used in MS Learn, different to your Emails address.

To continue with this process, please follow these steps:

1.    Start a Microsoft Edge InPrivate browsing session (pressing the key combination Ctrl + Shift + N once the browser is open).

2.    Copy and paste this link into the private window’s address bar https://mcp.microsoft.com/mcp/home/migrate

3.    Access with a Microsoft account that has not been used in MS Learn, different to your email address (if you do not have one, we invite you to create one Here).

4.    If you are shown an error message, please select the option “MCP Home” which will direct you to Your Dashboard, after that you can copy and paste the same link on step 2 in the same search bar.

5.    After you have followed the previous link, it will open a new window to Your Dashboard, as shown in the image below.

Image

6. While being on Your Dashboard page, please delete the URL and paste this one: https://mcp.microsoft.com/mcp/home/migrate

Hello Van.

We are glad to hear that everything is working correctly now/as expected. But please feel free to contact us if any questions or issues arise. We will be happy to help if needed.

Remember that Prometric is no longer a Microsoft contributor, which is why you will not find these badges on our platform, but you will find your Certificates in your Transcript. We also sent you a copy of your Transcript to your Email Address.

Microsoft periodically goes through a clean-up effort to identify certifications based on technologies that are no longer relevant and removes them from learner transcripts. This is done to ensure that the certifications represented on transcripts are current and cover up-to-date skills, knowledge, and abilities. This specific certification fits this scenario. Microsoft has purged the data for this certification, and it cannot be restored. To learn about current Microsoft certifications, browse the certification overview page.

In case you need further assistance regarding your Certificates, you can contact the Prometric Support Team by clicking on this link Contact Us | Prometric

You may also want to consider exploring other Microsoft certifications that we offer which will also verify your skills and unlock professional opportunities. To get a full list of the current certifications that we offer, please visit this page:  Browse Certifications and Exams | Microsoft Docs

Additionally, Microsoft has a special free program for all the people and customers with popular learning paths and modules to improve your abilities: Microsoft Learn | Microsoft Docs

We are attentive about your respond or if you need more assistance. In case we do not receive a response, the thread will be closed and locked in the next business day.

please indicate Yes” to the question Did this solve your issue? shown below and the case will be concluded. By answering this question, you are providing valuable feedback, so that other Learners can benefit from this certification program.

Thank you in advance for your collaboration and understanding,

Wishing you an amazing day,
