Revoked exam when I clicked the Take A Break button - Pearson Vue

Just now I was sitting an exam, and after I answered the case study of the 140min exam, I needed to go to the loo.

I clicked the "Take A Break" button, which stated that if I didn't answer the current question, I would lose access to it. I have already reviewed the questions I'm leaving and I was OK with that. So I told that I need to go to the bathroom and that I'm going to take a brief break and then clicked the button. The screen then showed the message that the break started. Actually, this is the second time this happens, I've had a similar experience, but did not write a thread. I really hoped that the "take a break" option would be pretty mature by now..."If if does not do what's intended, then, why have it at all" i thought...

So went to the loo, and was back 2 mins later. A chat and a message popped on-screen And it stated I did not indicate that I'm going to take a break. I told the proctors I did and that I also pressed the button. And I purposefully tried to wait until i have answerer all case study questions and so when I go back a new section with questions will appear. So it was the best possible moment for a break. No other intention at all and way nor time for me to do anything while being to the bathroom. No one spoke to me. Then the messages disappeared. Although frustrated, I continued with answering questions, maybe another 15-20 minutes passed and another message pop up. They stated they are revoking my exam. I panicked and directly started talking to them that I did everything correctly, and begged them not to cancel the exam. I have been answering maybe at least 40-50 minutes and was confident I will pass the exam. But a final message from a proctor appeared, stating that I have been witnessed leaving the testing space. So they were revoking my exam. I need to state this again: it was after the case study review and I was aware that no new questions appeared nor I had the time to view anything at all. I was out of my seat the fastest I could. So no more than 2 minutes in total.

I told the proctors repeatedly about the "Take A Break" button, but got no explanation beyond that.

It was the AZ-305 exam. It's still not visible under the "certifications/past exams" section in my learn profile yet. I must state that I'm worried I won't be reimbursed because I earned the exam attempt by successfully completing your Microsoft Learn Cloud Skills Challenge. IT stated that certification exam attempt is valid until September 27, 2023. I kindly ask for another chance. I can provide appointment details and/or any additional info via a private chat. Sadly, I saw other threads and used one of them as an example of what and where to write to. So this, sadly, is not an isolated case.

I really hope for another chance and am hopeful. Thank you very much for providing these opportunities and keep up the good work.

EDIT: I really. really want this attempt to be reimbursed so I would be confident during next online attempts. Although It's a really intense moment in my life right now and I would prefer if you give me another chance, to be at least on the weekend. Because I specifically chose this date, not tomorrow or the day after, which would be the last day/days of the initiative, because I would be really difficult for me to make it. But If It has to be tomorrow or the day after, and this is needed to be compliant with the rules of the initiative...and we can act fast, then so be it.

And one epiphany/thought/question: Was I even proctored by a human at all, or it was a bot?
