SCCM Engineer

Hello, I am looking to become an SCCM Engineer. I have been on the client side for years. Could anyone point me in the direction on what certs are needed to be on the SCCM Engineer side?

Answer

Hi CharlesJ1984,

As I have checked, there is an exam that covers the System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) technology which is exam 70-703. However, it is credited to a retired certification which is MCSE: Mobility. Note that once a certificate retired, it can no longer be taken and attained.

You may want to consider exploring other Microsoft certifications that we offer which will also verify your skills and unlock professional opportunities. To get a full list of the current certifications that we offer, please see this list.

After passing the last exam required for any certification your transcript will be updated. It may take up to 24 - 48 hours for the system to recognize your new certification status.

If this solves your problem, please indicate “Yes” to the question below so that other learners can benefit. Additionally, please take our short survey to let us know if your support experience has been great or how we can improve.

Please confirm by selecting “Yes” within 2 business days, otherwise the thread will be automatically closed and be locked. Please be aware that after a case is locked, we will not be able to respond, even on private messages. If your concerns were not fully resolved, please post a new question so that we may proceed in assisting you.

Best regards,
