Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals

Hello Microsoft Support,

I completed the Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals and received the email confirmation that I am eligible to take the certification exam at no cost. However when I was in the process of scheduling the exam, I got the notification that I have to pay £69 pounds. The email that I used to complete the Microsoft Security Virtual Training Day: Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals was: ***removed***

Thank you for contacting the Microsoft Community.

Allow me to guide you with the redemption process of the exam discount obtained from attending a Microsoft Security Virtual Training Day.

Please be advised that after completing the Microsoft Virtual Training Days, you will be eligible for the voucherless discount which can be redeemed after 5 business days from the first day of the event. This exam offer is valid for 90 days from the first day of the event and participants can take advantage of up to 8 event discounts. 


If this has passed the time frame, you can follow the steps below in scheduling the exam:

1. Use Microsoft Edge in InPrivate mode. Go to SC-900 and select "Schedule with Pearson VUE."   

2. Sign in using your personal Microsoft account. If you have a certification profile but have not yet connected it to Microsoft Learn, please visit: Connect a certification profile to Learn.

3. Once you are on your Certification profile, please make sure to complete all required fields with an asterisk * and avoid entering special characters as this may cause an error. When your profile is complete, select “Save and continue” (or “Continue” if you’re verifying).

4. On the "Exam Discount" page, you may then enter the email address used in the event in all lower case to check eligibility. You may also check these pages:

5. Once a discount is available, please make sure to click the "Claim" button to ensure that this will be applied at checkout.

In the event that you are unable to view the discount, please send us the complete PSR (Problem Steps Recorder) from the time you sign in until it shows the discount page along with the requested information via a private message for further investigation.
