Sharing Certificates from Microsoft Learn Profile

Team,

I noticed that you can share a certification to LinkedIn from MS learn but it gives you the option to share it as a post and not add it to your profile.

May i ask if there is any planned fix for this?

Regards,

Hello GiannisKatsaounis1!

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft’s Community.

As we understand, you want to know if you can share your Certification in a different way. We will be happy to assist you with your inquiry.

If you are referring to the option in which you must share your badge through the Credly platform, this is soon to be changed as we are retiring our partnership with them at the end of June 2023. You will be able to share from Learn directly to LinkedIn after our platform is updated. You may get further updates in the following sticky post: Coming Soon! Microsoft Learn certification sharing features to replace - Training, Certification, and Program Support.

However, you may also share your Certificates by generating a link in which anyone can access your Transcript. You may do so by following these steps:

  • Sign into your Learn profile.

  • Click on the photo avatar and select Profile from the dropdown menu.

  • In the profile menu, select Transcript. Your transcript displays all successfully completed certifications and modules.

  • Select “Share link” to generate an online link to your transcript you can share with potential employers. Save, share, or email a copy of your transcript, from the Print link. (Choose “Save to PDF” or print from the Printer drop-down menu. You can then attach the downloaded PDF to an email, print, or save it for your records.)

To stop the Transcript sharing, just generate another link.
