Hello,

My family name contains two "ç" but when i put them during the profil creation, the invalid name error appears. Can i replace them with two "c" Is it going ot be problematic for identification purposes ?

Answer

Hello, Tony.

Welcome to Microsoft’s Community.

We understand that you are facing issues filling the information to create your Certification Profile. We will gladly assist you.

Please know that when filling out personal information for the Certification Profile, the system only allows the use of Latin basic alphabet, please avoid special characters such as: ă, â, á, é, í, î, ó, ẹ, ị, ł, ọ, ụ, ã, ả, ẻ, ỉ, ỏ, ủ, ñ, č, ď, ě, í, ň, ř, š, ș, ş, ť, ț, ú, ů, ž, đ, \, /, ., *, ?, :.

Verify all the details and make sure to fill in all spaces marked with (*) as well.

Keep in mind that since the system accepts only Latin alphabet letters, there might be issues when trying to schedule an Exam. Take into account that the proctors are aware of this situation and will accept the legal ID with special characters even if they do not show in the Profile.

If the assistance provided solved your request, please indicate “Yes” to the question “Did this solve your issue?” shown below. Remember your feedback is important to improve our service. In case we do not receive a response, the thread will be closed and locked after one business day.

We will be attentive to your comments.

Xilena Navarro.
