Steps to connect Microsoft Learn profile to certification profile

Hello,

To renew a Microsoft certification, I need to connect my Microsoft Learn profile with my certification profile. I have seen the training video, but I am not able access the screens to complete the steps. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hello C_Leslie_37!

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.

Based on your statement, we understand that you are unable to connect your Certification profile to Microsoft Learn. We are glad to assist you.

Due to a recent update, certification and Learn profiles have been combined. It is no longer needed to maintain a Certification Profile or MCID separate for your Learn profile.

For more detailed information on this update, please visit the following post:

That being said, to access your Certification renewal/s, you must Login to Microsoft Learn: Build skills that open doors in your career with the same email you used to schedule the exam to access the Certification.

To renew it, you must search for your Certification by following this path: Profile > Credentials > Certifications.

Please let us know if you require additional assistance. If the information we shared was helpful, please let us know by choosing “Yes” where it says, “Did this solve your problem?” located in the bottom right corner of the thread. This will let us know if your support experience has been great or how we can improve it.

In case we do not receive a response, the thread will be closed and locked within the next business day.

Have an excellent day,

Have an excellent day,

The solution provided did not solve my problem. This may be linked to an issue I previously had where my certificate did not display in my profile. Any additional help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello C_Leslie_37!

Hope you are doing well.

After reviewing your details, we found that the certification you are referring to is already displayed on your profile. Since you were asking about its renewal, we would like to confirm that this type of certification does not expire, thus it does not need to be renewed:

MOS, MTA, MCSA, MCSD, MCSE, and MCE Certifications do not expire. - Credential expiration policies | Microsoft Learn.

Yours is a MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist), so you don't have to worry about renewing it as it will not expire.

Hello,

Thank you for the clarification.

The Certification Renewal home page cites renewal for associate, expert and specialty certifications. I assumed these applied to Microsoft Office.

Thanks again for all of. your help. I really appreciate it!
