Student discount will not apply even if I am verified

I have verified my student account which is visible on the exam registration page. But It does not give any discount/voucher. Could you please assist me on gaining student discount/voucher?

Hi,

Student discounts are automatically applied to every order once you verify your eligibility, the discounts page is for non-student discounts, for example: events, employee discounts.

Thank you for contacting the Microsoft Community.

Allow me to assist you on how you can avail yourself of the student discount.

Teriaavibes is correct. Once you have verified yourself as a student, the academic discount will be automatically applied at the checkout page, and you no longer need to enter your school email at the “discount” page. Once you have verified yourself as a student, you are entitled an academic pricing which offers 30% for Fundamentals exam and 45% for All Role Base Exam.


In case the student discount is not appearing at the checkout page, I would recommend following the troubleshooting steps below to resolve this issue as this is often due to browser error: 

  1. Open Microsoft Edge browser via InPrivate browser    

  2. Clear cache and cookies then restart browser   

  3. Edit your profile and save again make sure there are no special or local characters on your profile information. (This is to update the status on Pearson VUE’s side)   

Once done, please re-login and try scheduling the exam again and check if the discount is already applied on the checkout page.
