Technical Issue during 'check-in' process before Azure AZ-900 exam certification.

Hello Microsoft Team,


I had an appointment for the Microsoft Azure AZ-900 certification exam. I started the exam process, then copied the access code for the OnVUE program I had installed on my personal laptop. I moved on to the point where the microphone, volume and camera were tested. I also performed a trial test of the system and a few days ago and everything worked flawlessly, while check in main exam , mic is not working. And then I found myself at the point checking the Internet connection, it was good. But I don't know why mic was not responding at the moment. Yesterday - directly 30 minutes before the exam - suddenly my microphone is not working properly. I don't understand why, since I had a valid connection. So While check in to the exam microphone is not working, due to mic issue the proctor asked to reschedule the exam. I had given to reschedule the exam. And next moved on to the new tab and it shows like this "Reschedule your appointment (Attached the snap below). I clicked the link in a given snap and it moved on to the next page and it has "Manage exam appointment" , i clicked that. Later it goes to Microsoft AI skills page , in that I clicked my profile and I have searched certifications to reschedule the exam there is no certifications mentioned like that. So for that rescheduling, can I get any mail or notification? Then how many days it will take for exam rescheduling ? Can you help me with this?


I have tried to reschedule the date and time in the direct Microsoft Azure Fundamentals exam scheduling page after 2 hours of my check in time. I got like this. Actually my check in time

There could be some other underlying issue causing the technical issues. For future reference you can visit Run a system pre-check to see if the computer you’ll be using meets the requirements before registering for your online exam.
 
For any technical or network issue encountered during the exam. An incident report must be submitted to your exam delivery provider. This will allow them to conduct an investigation and pinpoint the reason why this happened. They also have direct access to your exam appointment for modification and rescheduling purposes. Please find the direct contact in your region through the links below:

Meanwhile, if you have used a company discount, I recommend you reach out to the ESI Support Team for immediate assistance as they can take care of the communication with your exam provider in modifying your appointment. You may inform them of the situation that you experienced. Please make sure to log in using your work email address and they typically respond within three to five business days.

Should you need additional assistance after obtaining the Case ID for exam provider, kindly provide it through the private message along with the requested information to locate and verify your account.

Moreover, please be advised that technical difficulties in online exams are unforeseen equipment problems such as software bugs wherein some antivirus software can cause performance issues and it can happen in any exam delivery provider.

If in case that you still want to schedule and take a Microsoft exam via OnVUE, we recommend you take note of the following reminders to avoid experiencing the same issue:

  • Unreliable internet connections (e.g., wireless networks, hotels, VPNs, mobile hotspots) may interrupt connectivity. If possible, you should use a personal laptop with a wired, ethernet connection.
